The 77/17 chambered in .17 Hornet is an economical, fun .17 caliber centerfire cartridge that puts the STING on varmints out to 300 yards. The Ruger K77/17VHZ is an extremely accurate bolt action rifle that is well suited to small game and varmint hunting. It features a cold hammer forged 24" barrel, three position safety and a detachable rotary magazine that mounts flush with the stock. The receiver has patented integral scope mounts machined directly on it for rock solid scope mounting. Scope rings are included. The action is mounted with the barrel free floating in a Green Mountain laminate wood stock.
