The Wassenaar Arrangement Semiautomatic Rifle is a semi-automatic version of the Romanian military Pistol Mitralier model 1963/1965, better known here in the US as the "Romy G". Made by Cugir Factory and Imported and modified by Century International Arms to conform with 922(r) the WASR is an inexpensive, durable, reliable and customizable Kalishnikov series rifle, and the GP WASR 10 is perfect for the beginner or AK-47 purist.

This 7.62x39mm semi auto rifle features a 16.5” barrel with a slant muzzle brake and the extremely popular underfolding stock. With the stock folded, this full-size semi-automatic rifle will easily fit into most range bags and backpacks for carrying to and from the range. This rifle is based on the Romanian variant of the AKM assault rifle currently being used by the Romanian Ground Forces and comes with original AKM wood furniture. Like most standard AKs, it is built on a stamped receiver with a 4140 chrome moly barrel that has a 1:10 twist rate and includes a slanted muzzle brake for recoil mitigation. Also included with this rifle is the Century Arms RAK-1 enhanced trigger group that decreases trigger pull weight while increasing reliability.

Features:

  • Stamped receiver

  • Underfolding metal stock

  • RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group

  • Legendary AKM reliability

  • Slant brake

  • Accepts all standard AK magazines
