One-of-200 Salute to the Father of America's Rifle

There are few figures more influential in the world of firearms design than the inventor of the first successful repeating rifle, Benjamin Tyler Henry. With his submission of Patent No. 30,446 on October 16, 1860, the purely American lever-action rifle was born, and B.T. Henry would establish his legendary status that lives on to this very day.

In celebration of B. T. Henry’s 200th birthday, we pulled out all the stops to craft this exclusive anniversary edition rifle as a line-for-line reproduction of his 1860 design with consolations only being made to accommodate the more modern .44-40 WCF cartridge. We take his renowned design a few steps further with sophisticated engraving work and presentation grade genuine American walnut.

The right-side receiver flat exhibits a portrait of the inventor himself, Benjamin Tyler Henry, surrounded by flowing leafy vine scrollwork engraving that continues to each edge of the hardened brass for full coverage. On the reverse side, we include a testament to this edition’s rarity with the words “One of 200,” nestled in between two ribbons marking Henry’s birth year and the 200th anniversary year. Limited to only 200 pieces worldwide, the B. T. Henry 200th Anniversary Edition is the rarest New Original Henry we have ever created.

The rest of this exquisite rifle follows suit with deep bluing brought to a high polish on the 24.5-inch steel octagon barrel. The buttstock, more reminiscent of marble than wood, is capped with an elegant crescent-shaped brass buttplate complete with a period-correct cleaning accessory compartment. Bringing this rifle squarely into a functional territory, it is completed with a blued steel folding ladder rear sight and serrated blade front sight.

We take a great deal of pride in carrying on B.T. Henry’s legacy with our line of modern lever-action rifles and shotguns, all Made in America just as they were in the 1860s. For any collector, this unique tribute can be the crown jewel and an exquisite testament to the endurance of “America’s Rifle.”
